Our Maestro Chiaro violins are made by master luthiers from high-grade European tonewood. Each violin is carefully examined and played by our head luthier before being accepted into our inventory. We chose the name Chiaro because in Italian it means clear or bright, which is an excellent description of the tone and overall style of these instruments. The tone is powerful and clear throughout all registers. The varnish is lightly colored and brings out the natural beauty of the wood. All final setup work is done in our workshop. We use high-quality bridges and soundposts, and string them with Vision Titanium Solo strings.
